Chicago Water Flood Restoration
After inspecting the customer’s property, our team determined the water damage in their garden unit was a Category 2 loss due to a water leak pooling out of the drains.
The storage area, on the other hand, was a Category 3 because the water had been sitting there for a while and we found lots of large mold spots. Knowing the severity of the situation, our team got right to work!

Providing Emergency Services
To fix the problem, we contained the affected areas, took off the baseboards, and drilled holes for ventilation. Even though the customer thought their flooring was waterproof, not all products claiming to be waterproof provide full protection against water damage. While they can handle surface water, water can still seep through joints or edges, potentially causing harm to the subfloor and surrounding structures.
We set up equipment such as air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers, which helped dry out the areas in just three days.
The customer was super happy with our restoration services and even recommended us to their Homeowners Association (HOA) to check out the storage area. Turns out, there was mold everywhere from the flood!
Once we got the green light from the HOA president, we tackled the affected areas, ripped out baseboards, and cut out the flooded parts in every room. Water damage restoration services include flood cuts when there is a backup from a sewer line, sump pump failure or category 3 loss in a home or business. This includes removing baseboards in a flooded basement to prevent mold growth.
Thanks to some high-powered air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers, we managed to dry everything up in just 3 days!
